Gregg Giboney, CFA is the founder of Timberline Investment Management, LLC (Timberline) and brings 27 years of significant experience and credentials that include Chartered Financial Analyst, MBA (University of Portland), and Bachelor of Arts in finance and accounting (Washington State University). In his career, Mr. Giboney was employed by First Interstate/Wells Capital Management for 20 years and successfully served in prominent positions that included fixed income trading, equity analyst, portfolio manager for personal and trust accounts, and institutional portfolio manager for value oriented portfolios and funds. At a private firm, Mr. Giboney successfully served clients and led numerous investment functions that included fixed income management, asset allocation strategies, and development of a very successful dividend stock strategy. Following the 2005 sale of the firm, Mr. Giboney founded Timberline to continue to provide quality investment services that includes the mentioned dividend stock strategy now known as Timberline Dividend & Growth. Mr. Giboney is a prominent member of the investment community having served as past president and board member of the Portland CFA Society and as a participant in various national CFA Institute events. He has been interviewed in the media on numerous occasions including two guest appearances on CNBC. Mr. Giboney resides in West Linn, Oregon with his wife and two children, and is also a member and President of the West Linn Rotary Club. Starting 6/30/13, Mr. Giboney will begin service as a member of the Rotary International investment committee. |
